I met Ali for the first time when I visited one of the "container" cities built in the outskirts of Berlin to accomodate hundreds of refugees arriving to Berlin. Ali is from Aleppo and he fleed from Syria six months ago and made it to arrive to Germany. He is excited to start a new life in Germany although he misses his dog and his car the most.
